Growing up, we hated getting stuck at “the kids table.”  You know the one.  You get stuck eating at the small table with your siblings and cousins because there isn’t enough room at the regular table.

But why not make it fun? I have 4 nephews coming in for Christmas this year and so my mother-in-law and I set this up for them.

Here I set up a kids table where they could eat and then play for a while by putting down a plastic green tablecloth and then a piece of craft paper over it.

I drew two place settings with markers and gave them their very own Christmas tree.

We put out some markers, crayons, stickers and play dough to keep them occupied. Check out the blue snowman made of play dough! Too cute!

We curled up some coloring pages to create their “napkins” so they would feel like they were “big kids.” Pretty easy but hopefully something that will make them feel special on Christmas Day!

Don’t forget to come back tomorrow and party!
